To mark his 30th year in business, Matt Figliola, the founder of Ai Design, was looking to visually rebrand the company. Not redesign the logo, but come up with a new image that could be used across all external communications from social media to client presentations to media press releases. While Ai had always used a feature vehicle in images, we offered something different: no vehicles at all. Our concept was to present the facility as a sort of secret skunk works where something wild was about to emerge. We rented a lift and shot a series of photos through late afternoon into early evening, compositing them into one hero image and adding in the proper headlight glow to signify a car about to exit.
